Ms. Alcira's responsibilities include the development and management of the business offices of ambulatory surgery centers. The development and management of the business office includes the selection of equipment, business office personnel, formation of the Business Office Manual, scheduling, insurance verification, registration, medical records, billing, payment posting, collections and accounts payable.

Ms. Alcira has worked in the ambulatory surgery center industry for over eighteen years and has held managerial roles with Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation, SurgCenter Development and Jupiter Outpatient Surgery Center. Ms. Alcira received her B.S. in Business Administration and her M.B.A. (with concentration in Health Care) from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Alcira also holds a graduate degree in Health Law from Nova University.
